Dedicated and motivated researcher,keen to pursue innovative and quality research on China with a particular focus on evolving relations with Pakistan.
Ayesha Siddique holds a BSc (Hons) from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in Accounting, Finance, and Political Science. She has an MPhil in Public Policy from Forman Christian College, where she was a merit scholar and gold medalist. She brings over four years of research and teaching experience, focusing on China’s rise, global power competition and peacebuilding. She is the author of the award-winning book “China-Pakistan Relations in the Twenty-First Century”, recognized by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China with a $2,000 commendation. She has published her work in international peer-reviewed journals and contributed chapters to projects led by international development organizations, most recently GIZ. She enjoys helping others, actively supporting the SOS Children’s Villages International. Alongside this, she enjoys badminton and cycling, has traveled across Europe and the Middle East, and values a balanced lifestyle.
